Ezra Cattan

Ezra Cattan is a credentialed urban planner and photographer with a MA in Regional Planning from Cornell University. He launched his career as Transportation Planner with the New York City Planning Department. After earning his MA, Ezra moved to San Francisco, consulting on various bicycle, pedestrian, bus, and rail projects across California. Ezra's long-standing passion for photography found initial outlets on the walls of cafés and small galleries throughout San Francisco. Over time, he noticed significant disconnect between the critical demand and informal approach towards photography among urban planners, and decided to do something about it. Urban-Eyes was established in 2006 and is dedicated to the integration of photography and geographic information systems (GIS) as it relates to urban planners, architects, real estate developers and engineers. Urban-Eyes' line of products and services include photography licensing and sales, GIS database development, media cataloging, and application development.
